UI/UX design, Web development
I conducted numerous research on web designing from various sources while taking on the role of a UI/UX designer as well as a web developer.
A website created showcasing my career progression while offering valuable insights into my skills, experience and aspirations. It shows my passsion for designing and to build an unique online presence.

Planning and development
I started by creating a KANBAN board listing all the tasks and features that should be included in the website. The features were sorted based on their level of importance.
I compared different web building platforms and rated them out from a 5-point scale base on the factors that could affect the decision making process.
Designing
Using Balsamiq, I created wireframes and mapped out the user journey. My main focus was aa clean design layout.
I used Figma to create interactive, mid-fidelity prototypes of individual pages. Using plugin, suitable font sizes were chosen for different devices.
Building
I created different pages, structured the layouts, added different sections, established navigation pathways and envisioned the overall user journey. It involved a lot of modifications over time, adding custom animations and interactions. Once the design was done for desktop viewport, I started working on other viewport sizes to make the website responsive.
Testing and deployment
I fixed minor bugs and added the security features to the website for protecting user information. Once published, I indexed individual pages in various search engines for better SEO.
The website was monitored constantly to improve the site loading speed. I made sure that visitors were able to reach their destination page with almost on bounce rate.
Result
This is the final result. A personal website that is smooth and responsive across all devices.
The carefully chosen fonts, color palettes and design elements harmonizes seamlessly and provides a modern look while keeping the visitors engaged.
While this was a sole work, it was made easier due to the Editor X community for providing guides, helping in fixing bugs and for introducing me to Wix IDE.
The website will be continuously updated as I progress in my career. The current website can be viewed at https://www.littlekuma.in/
